Overall, the Super Bowl commercials were a bit of a disappointment last night. The only really great one was the Volkswagen one with the kid in the Darth Vader suit.
A pretty good one was the NFL's tribute to its fans using footage from classic television series.
Watching it, I was struck by two things. One is how hard you had to look to find representation by the Redskins and Titans.
The other was that I hope when all of those involved with the upcoming negotiations on whether we get a season next year will remember the sentiments behind this commercial and work to make sure that the fans, the ones who make all of this possible with our hard earned money, get a season next year.
