Dear CBS,

I didn't think it was possible, but apparently you figured out a way to one-up ESPN this week for "stupidest network sports coverage." And that's saying a lot since ESPN featured Vandy vs Georgia for a nationally televised game (guess the nation needed to see that, yep, Vandy is still Vandy and can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at any time....bowl game, my left pinky toe).

So, you've decided that instead of showing the nation the best rivallry in all of college sports, UT vs Bama, that you'll go with Kentucky vs Florida.

Can I ask something--are the manitees that write Family Guy episodes now running your network?

You could've gone with a game full of passion, pagentry and one that will be hard-fought between two bitter rivals. Instead you go with a flavor of the week team that is destined to choke at some point and the underachieving Gators. I hope that one team blows the other out so a lot of TV sets are tuned out by halftime.

Best rivalry in college sports? Have you heard of Army/Navy or maybe the Iron Bowl? I do agree that we should see the UT game but let's be realistic in the fact that the Fl/UK game will be a lot better game with Alabama's sorry team.

If you want to talk about the best rivalries in college sports, then you have to include OSU/Michigan as well as basketball rivalries such as UK/UL and Duke/UNC. I think UT/Bama is a great rivalry, but it is hardly the best in the nation.

And as far as CBS deciding to put the UK/Florida game on, they made the right decision. Like it or not, the 'Cats are for real this year.

It's going to be tough for them to beat Florida. The LSU game was very physical and we're pretty banged up, plus Florida has an extra week to rest and prepare. And we don't seem to fare too well against teams with a mobile quarterback.

I think we have a shot to win, but it'll be tough.

Oh please...Michigan vs Ohio State. Please stop pumping up that overrated game from a conference that can't be bothered to have a championship game. The Big 10 has shown time and again this year it is inferior to the SEC in every possible way--not just football, but any sports.

And UK vs Florida...who cares?!? Unless it's another chance for UK to choke on national TV....
