South Park repeats "The Passion of the Jew" episode
tonight, which features a satire of Mel Gibson. The episode aired originally when
The Passion of the Christ came out and concerns the guys heading to California to demand their money back from Gibson after seeing the film.
Interest that this episode should come into the repeat rotation now, what with Mel being in the news and all. It almost makes you wonder if Comedy Central didn't play with the repeat order to take advantage of the timing.
Of course, if Gibson had a big movie coming out that advertised on Comedy Central and threatened to boycott the network if they didn't respect his beliefs, I bet they'd pull the episode at the last minute.
Or does getting to act insane and making demands of Comedy Central only work for Tom Cruise?
