Wednesday night, the Vols travelled down to Athens to play the Georgia Bulldogs in an SEC basketball showdown. And once again, UGA fans proved why they're the worst fans in the country.
Tennessee junior point guard C.J. Watson might be nicknamed the ''Quiet Storm,'' but his parents were anything but quiet Wednesday night during the Vols' 72-65 victory over Georgia. They were kicked out of Stegeman Coliseum at halftime by Georgia security after an older couple sitting in front of them complained about them being too loud, according to Watson.
From the article, I see that Watson's family was sitting in a section reserved for Georgia ticketholders. Once again, UGA fans show they are classless. I heard so much bitching by Georgia fans when I lived there about how other teams treated them like crap when they visited their stadiums--they singled out UT knowing what I fan of the Vols I am. Well, ya know what, I don't think any of our teams have ever kicked out your fans for coming into our stadiums or arena and pulling loudly for Georgia. From what I've seen we've been gracious and hospitable and sure we pull like heck against your team, but in the end, we can all seem to get along.
But the same rules don't apply for Georgia fans. We're supposed to welcome them to our venues to see their team but we arent' welcome in theirs.
But then again, just about all Georgia fans are classless bozos anyway, so I'm not too surprised by any of this...
