I saw the ratings for FOX's
Who's Your Daddy? show last night. Thankfully, there seem to be a lot of other appalled people out there who didn't bother to tune in to this travesty of a reality TV show.
I, instead, watched the new
Two and a Half Men and the Sugar Bowl.
Two and a Half Men was funny, as usual. And you gotta love Padget Brewster from the abruptly cancelled
Andy Richter Controls the Universe getting some work.
As for the Sugar Bowl, I have to admit part of me is pulling to see Auburn somehow pull out a split national title. I am not sure that they dominated enough in the game to make that big a different. As I see it, USC is overrated and has been number one all year largely due to sympathy from getting shut out of the big game last year. USC plays in a sub-par conference--look at how Cal got waxed in their bowl game for evidence. It's easy to beat up on cream puffs in a conference that ain't that good, unlike the SEC which has good teams and one more thing--a championship game.
The only shot I see Auburn having is is the AP voters decide to stick it to the BCS one last time and vote Auburn number one before withdrawing their poll from the formula.
And you know, that might be a good thing. It might finally get college football to wake up and smell the potential of a playoff...
