For those of you who didn't watch any of the bowl games on ABC and ESPN and missed the 17,000 promos,
Lost and
Alias return tonight from hiatuses--
Lost from a three-week break for the holidays and
Alias returns for its fourth season.
USA Today has a ton of information about
Alias on-line today in case you're just now dropping in on the party. I've been a fan season one though I admit last year wasn't the best they've done.
USA Today's coverage starts with a
long article about J.J. Abrams, the force behind Lost and Alias. He also created
Felicity, which I watched the first year and then lost interest in. He's also directing a small movie called
Mission: Impossible 3. (Reading the article, he reminds me a lot of the genius that is Joss Whedon).
Next up, is
a catch-up on who is who in the
Alias universe. From what I've heard tonight's episode will be accessible for new fans and drop a lot of the Rimbaldi storyline that bogged down the later half of last season. But you may still need to know who relates to who in the story. Finally, Robert Bianco
gives tonight's fourth season premiere four stars.
