Forget about
Alias...the real excitement about next Wednesday is that we get our first new epsiode of
Lost for 2005!
If you're like me and starting to feel withdrawal pangs, here a couple of articles that might help. The first is from the New York Post and talks about
the sudden, rampant fan speculation concerning the character of Hurley. Reading this article, the only thing that concerns me is the sudden comparisons to
The X-Files--one of my favorite shows of the 90s, at least for the first five or six years. If any of you were X-Philes like myself, you remember at first how great it was, how much fun it was for the conspiracy to slowly develop...until suddenly in about season five you realized that Chris Carter and company had no clue where this was going and were making it up as they went along. I hope that
Lost doesn't do this and have such a huge collapse as the
X-Files did in the later seasons--pretty much anything after the movie and really pronounced after Duchovny departed stage left.
Meanwhile, TV Guide On-Line has an article speculating on just
who the character of Ethan really might be. Nothing new there really, but it's still interesting.
