an article speculating on whether or not we're in for great fall leaves or just so-so fall leaves. Not that it really matters because the first hint of fall colors and it'll take approximately six weeks to travel anywhere in the Smokeys by car...

Another "casualty" of Hurricane Ivan was the
Spring Hill's Rippavilla Plantation's corn maze. The maze was designed to look was a design of explorers Meriwether Lewis' and William Clark's Trail of Discovery and featured a silhouette of Lewis in the center. The maze was set to open last Thursday when Ivan was dumping a ton of rain on the area. The maze has been cancelled for this year, but there are other mazes around the area. I've never been to a corn maze, but I've always wanted to go. I think it sounds like fun...
