Theater Thursday
Week 4 - Do You Believe in Magic?
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is now pulling all kinds of young witches and wizards away from their Playstations and into movie theatres all across the country.
That got us Muggles to thinking...wouldn't it have been cool to be able to point your wand at the bully that pushed you around on the playground, say "EXPELLIARMUS!", and watch them fly back against the wall?
1) Which magical power would you like to have (in order to further the cause of good for mankind, of course)? Which magical power would you like to have that you would keep hidden, guiltily, cackling about it under your sheets at night?
For the power to keep to myself, definitely invisibility. For one thing, it'd be hysterical to freak people out driving down the road while being invisible. As for the power to use to further cause of good, I ability to see into the future, find out bad things were gonna happen and then be able to change them. Sort of like the Dead Zone, I guess.
2) If you had a flying broomstick, would you use it? Where would you go?
There are times when I'm sitting in the thrill that is Nashville traffic that I wish I had a flying broomstick so I could fly right over the traffic and get home. (Notice how I'm not in a huge rush to get to work, mind you!) But only if I were the only one who had one...if everyone had one, we'd all be clogging up the airways and then what good does it do me?!? Seriously, I think it'd be great to head over to Europe and England. I'd love to take a tour of some of those old castles throughout England. And I'd also love to take a tour of the rock quarries where they filmed Doctor Who.
3) If you could briefly turn yourself into an animal, what would it be?
A house dog for a family. You get fed, you get loved, you get to sleep in the sun all day.
Bonus) Do you believe in magic?
I believe that magical things can happen, yes.
That's it till next time! Be sure to leave your name and blog address in the Comments when you've answered the questions.
And remember, Traguna Makoides Tregorum Satis Dee!
