The latest ESPN/
USA Today Coaches Poll is out. Just like ABC wanted, Texas moved up to number two, thus making this week's Ohio State vs Texas game a one vs two match-up. So, this means we're guaranteed a new number two team next week.
Notre Dame fell to fourth in the polls as people realized--hey, they're overrated.
And in the biggest news...Tennessee and Cal virtually traded places in the poll. Tennessee jumped twelve spots to number eleven in the land after our throttling of Cal Saturday afternoon. Cal dropped to number twenty-two in the polls.
I'm proud and excited for the jump up for the Vols. I figured we'd be fifteenth at best with some work left to do to climb into the top ten. But I'm excited and cautiously optimistic about this jump in the polls. I just hope the team doesn't read too many of their own press clippings and lay an egg against Air Force this week or look ahead to Florida next week.
