Dear whoever at the Green Bay Packers organization made this stupid decision,
I understand that high school football is very important to you and heaven forbid your season ticket holders who are getting fleeced out of a regular game price to watch a glorified scrimmage have to make a choice between seeing junior play him some football and Brett Favre run up more reasons he should have retired last year. But I fail to understand why you thought--let's have the game at Lambeau at 3 p.m. CST, thus insured that anyone with a real job won't get to see it and we'll be forced to, instead, listen to on the radio instead. I can guarantee that no one will be able to get anything done on-line throughout much of Nashville today becuase everyone will be live streaming the audio of the game via Titans OnLine, thus reducing bandwith and slowing the Internet down to a crawl.
I realize that your team hasn't been quite so hot in recent years, making a precipitous drop since your glory days of going to back-to-back Super Bowls. And I know our team isn't exactly lighting up the score board these days either, but there are some of us who'd like to have seen the game live, if only to watch the Titans finish imploding over this whole Billy Volek vs Kerry Collins fiasco that has played out this week. (Steve McNair, come back...we miss you!) Of course, I do understand that this type of drama is better suited to an afternoon soap opera than an NFL team, but we do what we can in Nashville to keep things entertaining.
Thank you,
Big Orange Michael
